I am a Colorado native, although I did move to the Chicago land area for several years before coming home with my family in 2011. For most of my working years I was in healthcare providing in home care for those who were unable to seek outside medical assistance, and also spent some time in the office side doing medical records and billing. In 2009 I enrolled in a Nursing Program to further my education, but after completing four years of college and earning a certificate in Small Business Management as well as a Holistic Wellness Counseling certificate, I found the opportunity to pursue a degree in Massage Therapy. I graduated from IBMC of Longmont in 2015, and within 2 months I was able to open Essential Body Care right here in Longmont, Colorado. Since my graduation I have continued my education by attending conferences taught by very respected leaders in the massage industry.
